This past week of July 24, highway illumination and Incident Management System (IMS) work continued on the Exit 16 southbound on-ramp to Route 8.
Upcoming illumination and IMS work will take place Mondays through Thursdays as follows:
Week of July 31: Daytime from 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

- Exit 16 southbound along Route 8 toward Exit 15
- Exit 16 off-ramp northbound on Pershing Drive in Derby
Week of August 7: Nighttime from 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM

- Northbound from Exit 16 off-ramp toward Exit 17
This work consists of trenching and backfilling, installing light pole foundations, and installing cable between the foundations.
