Current Project Status
- Completing investigations and cleaning
- Final Design is underway
- Permit is underway
Construction Activities
- Work will be completed by taking lanes during off-peak hours
- Mostly night work with some daytime activities
- Ramp closures and detours at night
- Anticipated two to three nights per ramp
- Local road detours will be coordinated with Towns (detour agreements)
- Announcements will be found on the website
Construction Staging & Phasing
- Stage 1 – Shoulder rehabilitation
- Stage 2 – Median Reconstruction
- Stage 3 – Mainline pavement reconstruction
- Work progression South to North
- Center median reconstruction – one-mile increments
- Concrete pavement base repairs begin when center median work has progressed three miles
