This past week of October 16, highway illumination and Incident Management System (IMS) work continued along Route 8 southbound at Exit 17 and Exit 14. The following work will take place in the next two weeks:
Weeks of October 23 and October 30:
- Nighttime from 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM, Monday through Thursday
- Continued illumination foundation work on Route 8 southbound, including the installation of light poles at Exit 13 northbound and the southbound on-ramp at Exit 16
This work consists of trenching and backfilling, installing light pole foundations, and installing cable between the foundations.
