Please note the following additional work that will be done on Route 8 during the week of July 14:
On Tuesday and Wednesday, July 15 and 16, the construction team will be adding line striping in Ansonia, just before Route 8 NB Exit 15 and northward to where the grass median starts, to create a work zone for the installation of a concrete barrier curb in the median along Route 8 north and south bound.
This new striping will be in place until approximately January 2026.
Directional signage will be in place to advise drivers of the lane shifts.
